In the autumn and winter period, the amphitheater gates are open to users of the bicycle path from 8:00 to 19:00.

The cycling and walking route was created as part of the project „Giżycko and Sovetsk – cooperation for the development of the preservation of historical, cultural and natural heritage of the cross-border area” under the Russia-Poland Cross-border Cooperation Programme 2014-2020. The beneficiary of the project – Giżycko Municipality – created a total of 5628m of bicycle and walking paths around the Boyen Fortress and its surroundings, of which 3729m is for cycling and walking and 1899m is for mountain bikes (MTB). The cycling and walking route in Giżycko has a dirt road, which blends in with the natural landscape.

The entire route will be included in the so-called „Mazurian Cycle Loop” cycle route. The project partner, the Sovietsk City District Administration, will create a 3.93 km bicycle and pedestrian path in the park around the city lake with additional tourist and recreational infrastructure.
